Surgical tooth removal

Teeth can be entirely or partially displaced or retained. This phenomenon most frequently affects the lower and upper wisdom teeth as well as upper canines. In these cases it is impossible to loosen the teeth, grip them with pliers and remove them. Surgical access has to be created for these teeth. The surgical removal of bone is called osteotomy. The surgical removal of tooth germs, called a germectomy, is also performed in this manner.
